Paul Atriedes was never described as an effeminate male in Frank Herbert's books quite the opposite. This girl/boy is no concern & not fit for task. Here Frank Herbert is let down.

I got the dvd from Amazon for £5 to be honest I got bored with the film. Could hardly see the film as it was so grainy and dark. Earlier dune films had a much clearer picture

Why didn’t they mention it’s only 35% of the book. This way you gotta pay for 5 parts like the HOBBIT !! The hobbit was – 284 page book like you could read it in 3/4 hours taking breaks.
